The Raw Truth

Caution: Some of the following statements may come off as radical to some people, in that a diet of 100% raw, living foods is the ultimate recommendation here. However, it should be clear that any increase in the consumption of raw food and decrease of cooked food results in benefits to the individual. Hence, the principles presented here, making clear the ideal, can be used to encourage us to improve our diets no matter what level they are at or how gridlocked we may feel.

Cooked Food is the first and strongest addiction. It is forced on us soon after birth.

As children, many of us are rewarded with food, punished with food or forced to eat food, including meat, initially against our wills. The addiction, as if not strong enough on it's own, is made worse by societies pressures to eat cooked. We are bombarded with advertising by greedy corporations who fill the dead food with chemicals, partially hydrogenated oils, refined sugar and dyes that sometimes never leave our bodies. A majority of TV Ads are for unnatural food and other products which we consume or apply to our bodies. Is it any wonder almost 2/3rds of the US population is overweight, 1/3rd officially obese. Over 300,000 people die each year from obesity. Cooked food is addicting, need I say any more? One in four people can quit heroin; do you think 25% of the population can totally give up cooked denatured food? Soon a new generation can and will. The shift is happening now. Can you find the courage and determination to go more raw? Read on.

A few great sages, wise people, indigenous people and simple folk, can be found in every era of history who have known the great secret of the simple raw diet. They have enjoyed extraordinary health, longevity and connection to the earth and cosmos. Plenty of research and history support this .

Once you have finished cleansing and many times in between, you just plain feel incredible on the raw-food diet. The rewards never stop coming.

They are too many to name but here's a few; boundless energy, increased vibration and strength, lessened requirements for sleep, loss of allergies; improved vision, hair quality & skin tone; overall radiance & perfect health; no colds, flus or infections; healing from all disease including cancer; heightened sense of spirituality, creativity, intuition & sexuality; clear & peaceful mind, vastly improved results from meditation. Sound too good to be true? It's not, ask any raw-foodist.

Addiction to cooked food (and even raw food addiction or combining too many foods) divorces us from our natural instincts around the ideal diet for us in terms of quantity, type and timing of meals. As you give up cooked food, your taste buds begin to come alive and you begin to crave raw food in season. If you can make it all the way, you will be amazed as nearly all foods in their natural state, foods you never dreamed of, begin to taste incredible to you. You come to know exactly what & how much you need to eat.

The Raw-Food Diet is anything but boring or limiting; in fact the total opposite is true. There are hundreds of common foods and thousands in all the can be eaten raw and fall into these categories; fruits, greens, root vegetables, fermented foods (sauerkraut, miso, tempeh, raw cheese & yogurt) honey, pollen, flowers, nuts, seeds, grains & sprouts. There are many simple and practical tasty preparations using the common blender and possibly seeds, nuts and grains that are simply soaked overnight. For nearly every cooked meal there is raw counterpart that can satisfy a craving for that same food or group of tastes. It takes a little time and effort at first as you learn a few new recipes but eventually it saves a lot time (and money).

The human like all other species is designed to eat a raw mono (one type of food at a time) diet. All animals in the wild eat in this manner and are not afflicted with disease; they die only from natural causes.
The cow or horse is over a thousands pounds and much if it muscle; it receives all of its nutritional needs from grass in the field. From the grass it does eat, it absorbs only the living liquid. The cow and horse are made out of grass juice! Animals in the wild do not cook their food and do not get diseases; many studies have shown animals fed cooked food do produce weak offspring within only a couple generations! Humans are no different. Specifically our digestive system is designed to best handle a predominantly fruit diet like the rest of the ape family. We can get away with combining foods but fewer types per sitting are best.

There is an abundance of high quality more utilizable protein in fruits, nuts, seeds and greens; protein from meat, dairy or grains carries great disadvantages.
The gorilla can bench over 4,000 lbs. and is a natural fruitarian and proves animal protein is not needed to build muscle. A proper functioning liver and cleaned out intestinal tract have no problem absorbing, transforming and utilizing the higher quality living protein found in raw fruits, and especially nuts, seeds and greens. If liver & intestines are not working right you'll not utilize much of the protein out of the animal products either. On raw food the amount of protein needed is much less than the daily recommended amounts. Protein from animal products comes with the associated high levels of acidity, mucus, pathogenic microbial activity, disease and also toxins, hormones, antibiotics and pesticides if not organic/free range source. If it is from meat then one receives additional hormones the animal releases from the adrenaline rush caused by fear & pain during the slaughter. If available raw goat milk or raw organic cow milk may be acceptable. Some yogurt and organic raw cheese on occasion should satisfy urges for animal products. If not try an organic fertile egg to fight temptation.

Less is more.
The transformative powers of the body are so great, that if we could just take all of the waste out of the way, we could achieve whatever our God given potential is on something as simple as 2 apples and a handful of almonds a day. Or fresh mango & an avocado. Or a glass of goats milk and a few dates. Or a few figs, olives and a glass of red wine, etc., etc. There are documented cases of some of the oldest people (centurions, macrobites) who ate like this, very simple, with only 10 to 16 ounces of food a day. Like the gorilla, horse or cow, our potential already exists in our genes; all we have to do is not get in the way. Our food choices do get in the way. We do not need more we need less.

The book "The Grape Cure" offers a brilliant example of this simplicity. To follow the grape cure, one eats only grapes for an extended period. At first the grapes purify the body. They tear down the old unusable, superfluous or poor quality cells that we are built out of. In some cases the individual loses an extreme amount of weight, as the body in its wisdom uses the grape diet at first as an opportunity to starve out the disease or cancer. Once the old body is completely torn down and disease is gone (again in some cases with frightening weight loss), the person rebuilds and gains weight at an amazing speed on the very same grapes that torn the body down. That's right without changing anything the old body is torn down, you bottom out and then gain weight just by eating grapes. In some cases, individuals extremely emaciated have gained 8 lbs. in 2 days at the point of turn around.

A grain and animal eating society leaves behind a desert; a fruit eating society leaves behind a garden. In this sentence we find the simplicity our destiny to be fruitarians clearly illustrated. It is natures divine plan for this to be so. Grain plants take nutrients from the topsoil and do not replace them. Fruit trees reach deep down into the earth to pull up nutrients and then compost the soil with falling fruit and leaves. The human like the honeybee comes foraging and carries off the seed to far away places. Humans and fruit trees were made to help each other. A neglected fruit tree produces poorer fruit. The entire earth could become a beautiful garden with an overwhelming abundance of fresh living food, if we just planted fruit and nut trees everywhere!

Raw-Food Diet increases sensitivities to the sacred, the earth & the cosmos, as it literally brings more life force, energy, electricity and light into the body. It accelerates spiritual growth, awakens the Kundalini energy, increases awareness and improves mediation practices.

The energetic properties of food are completely overlooked by traditional nutrition studies . YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!

Eat pure food with great life force and you will become pure with great life force coursing through your body. This is truth in its simplest form. OF COURSE SPIRITUAL AWAKENING WILL UNFOLD IF THE VESSEL, THE TEMPLES BECOME PURE!

Raw-Food Diet heals the individual and the planet. So as in the micro so as in the macro. Stop polluting the body and you stop polluting the planet. Raw food doesn't come in packaging or require polluting chemicals or earth's resources in processing.

If you buy locally grown food, then pollution from transportation is less. The raw diet automatically makes people more environmentally conscious and caring to a higher degree. As one becomes more cleaned out, one's "alarm system" is more sensitive to pollutants everywhere and one becomes fed up with the causes of pollution. Sometimes you'll feel rage over what's going on and you're inspired to take action, unlike the apathetic ways of most of society.

Raw food & vegetarianism can usher in the Golden Age of Peace. Raw food & vegetarianism decrease violent behavior & inner turmoil and restore mental peace & clarity. Much more so with raw food.
Cooked food and meat are overstimulating to the system. There is inherent violence and death that is passed on to the individual from the killing of the animal, and also to a less or degree from killing food through "fire the destroyer" in cooking. That is not to say that a being of great love does not have the power to transform his/her food to higher vibration, but there are better things to do if one in fact truly has that power. Eating raw will help one get to that place of total love and respect for all beings. If we are eternal could not even a fruit fly evolve through zillions of years into a spiritual master? I will not harm the fruit fly, ant or yellow jacket.

The body's immune system views much or all of the cooked food meal as a toxin or invader. It is not alive and hence is not wanted.
It is a fact that our white blood cell count goes way up in response to handle the overloaded of unusable dead food particles in the system. What can't be used or dealt with at each one of these 3 time a day we assault our bodies with more food it doesn't need, is stored away as toxins, mucus and fat. The average temperature of a raw-foodist is closer to 96.8 than 98.6; we've read that in other books and all 4 members of my family confirm it. The cooked food eater runs a constant slight fever and the immune system is forever taxed on the cooked diet. Liver & Kidney work overtime.

The blood, the body's transport system, becomes sticky and clumped on cooked foods. This results in low oxygenation and poor transportation of nutrients and waste, due to the fact that surface area is dramatically decreased when the blood is stacked like coins. Raw food carries an electrical charge, which in turn charges blood cells and helps them to repel from each other. They then can carry more oxygen and nutrients!

Total 100% Raw is magical and offers benefits far beyond 80%, 90% or even 99% raw. As much as we would like to think they are the same, total raw foodists swear that the difference is great. The vibration is greater as if one is under a wonderful spell. Only someone who has gone all the way can tell you about the difference between 99% & 100% raw. The doctor, scientist or nutritionist cannot know or understand and it is too much for them to believe.

In any reports of failure of the raw diet there is surely other factors responsible; i.e. the individual not intuitively finding the right raw foods or balance of raw foods for them, deep emotional or karmic issues are interfering, more time needed to heal, or more likely they simply did not really follow a 100% raw diet. Not enough rest, highly acidic system and even not enough sunlight are also big factors.

Additionally, it seems that as much as we would believe that we can control our addiction to cooked food and just savor a few cooked items on an occasional basis, testimony and much personal experience with this, indicate that it is not easily done. We eventually overdo it, binge out, fall of track and interfere with our intestinal tract & liver, which are still trying to heal and achieve perfect absorption levels.

The difference between mostly raw and totally raw is something that many individuals may have to test and find out for themselves. As your level of health improves, you'll become more sensitive to what works and doesn't. You'll become an energy junkie who always wants to feel incredible. 100% raw assures you of the magic!
