9/26/02 Subject: Wow! Great Restaurant!
Dear OGC Staff,
I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you how much we enjoyed our experience at your Cafe. We visited you last Saturday for an early dinner, driving all the way from Pepperell, MA about an hour and 20 minutes. It was well worth the drive.
The atmosphere and service were great. But, most importantly, the food was out of this world! I had the sampler from heaven. My wife had the Rawvioli Special with soup. My daughter had the Sun berger. All excellent. We'll be back first chance we get. Keep up the great work and thank you for an refreshing experience.
Will you ever publish a recipe book of your own?
We'd buy a copy!

Just wanted to tell you that due to the fragile state I've been in recently, this
quote from your newsletter is a powerful healing force right now. Thank you.

RE: thank you for the amazing food
my girlfriend and i have been interested in raw foods for a while but
didn't know of any restaurants around New England where we could check it out (we're from New Hampshire, and have been vegan for about 4 years now), so i was elated when my girlfriend found out about your restaurant, and last night we came out and it was incredible. i had the Sampler and she had the Arabian nights, and i had the apple pie and she had the pecan pie, it was some of the best food I've ever had in my life and I'm pretty sold on the raw foods idea. i felt so incredible for the rest of the day.
the thing is i know next to nothing about it, how to go about preparing
this stuff, how did you learn this stuff? are there any books you can
suggest to help get us started?
thanks,
jason |

Hi Rob,
I really enjoy your newsletter and am really looking forward to joining one of your classes soon. I just bought my dehydrator and made lentil burgers. They are delish but very crumbly. I have searched for a good pizza recipes without success. Would love to attend a class to learn.
One of my best pleasures is your restaurant and have taken many friends who are not even vegan and they have loved it. In fact, it was coming to your restaurant that started raw food for me.
If you could help with my questions or just direct me the right way I would be most appreciative.
Thank you,
Karen |

Hi Rawbert,
I just finished reading your email tonight I'm interested in attending the seminar on December 4th with Doug Graham!
I've been to your restaurant a few times since I discovered it and like the atmosphere there very much and the food is nice too!
I'm interested in the position you are offering for the weekday evening artistic prep. I do volunteer work for the Art of Living Foundation in the wholistic health area.
I look forward to your reply.
Thanks,
Marco |

Hi,
I have eaten at your restaurant (LOVE IT!) and am wondering if you will be having more events, i.e. classes, speakers, music. Please put me on an email or mailing list.
Thanks,

I'm so glad to have found you. I saw you on Chronicle last evening. I've been a proponent of raw ever since I read Fit for Life by the Diamonds in the 80's. It just makes perfect sense to me. I would very much like to have recipes, obviously there doesn't seem to be cook?books out there. Will you be having classes on how to have variety in the preparation of raw again? Do you have recipes available?
Thank you for being out there.
Gratefully yours,
Sandy |

8/21/02 RE: THANK YOU!
Robert,
It was great meeting you Saturday afternoon. The trip from Providence was well worth the drive to just eat at your restaurant.
The lasagna made a fantastic lunch on Sunday in the hotel room! Unfortunately the apple pie didn't last until the next day. I couldn't keep from eating it Saturday night. I can't tell you how much I appreciated it! It is a shame that Columbus, Ohio doesn't have a restaurant as great as yours!
Best of luck. I hope to get back to see you in the near future!

Hi Robert,
A little over 2 weeks ago I made a decision to step outside my
"comfort zone" and made the 3 hour drive to attend the David Wolfe lectures
at Organic Garden. His lectures and the fine foods at your cafe have
inspired me to go raw and not look back.
Thank you for having the courage to open Organic Garden. I could see
that you have touched many lives from your employees to your customers. Keep
up the great work! It is definitely a labor of love and that vibe is very
present in you, your employees, and your delicious and attractive foods.
Thanks also f or the referral to the Old Corner Inn. It was very cozy.
I also took your advise and visited the Singing Beach. It was truly
breath-taking. I spent several hours there and can't wait to go back. I feel
the same way about Organic Garden. I know your 1 year anniversary is coming
up and was wondering if you are having a special event. If so, I'd like to
attend. If not, Congratulations and continued success to you and everyone
at Organic Garden. I'LL BE BACK !!!
Peace,
Tony Anastasio |
